David and I saw a billboard for "Crazy Steve's Fireworks" on our way to visit our friends in North Carolina.
Crazy Steve's Fireworks Superstore is Exit 2 off I-85 in South Carolina.
Billboard claims that Crazy Steve's has billions and billions of TNT.
Me: David?
David: Whut?
Me: Crazy Steve's has billions and billions of TNT power.
David: I'll drive a little faster.
Me: Do you wonder what Crazy Steve looks like?
David: No. I don't wonder.
Me: I do.
David: And it's usually not very far.
Me: That's WANDER.
David: Same thing.
Argh.
BTW: Apparently "Crazy Steve's" is a franchise.

I always love reading about your convos with David. This one definitely made me laugh! :)
ReplyDeleteyo gillham.. i think kara is giving me the wrong email.. cause i send and get no replies... its a hard knock life.
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure Crazy Steve is a cousin of Wacky Wayne, of Wacky Wayne's Fireworks, which we pass on the way to Macon. Apparently, Wayne is a green water droplet, but I always pictured him as a crazy, toothless urban outdoorsman. But that's just me.

LOL -- Wacky Wayne!! I will not be asking you why you're going to Macon.
ReplyDeleteBut that's just me.
:)
I visit Macon for my three favorite things: heat, humidity, and in-laws. (Note to self: do not give in-laws a link to your blog.)
ReplyDeleteLMAO
ReplyDeleteFireworks are illegal in Cali, I guess too many people have blown off chunks of their body while lighting them in the streets so anytime we're road tripping and I see those crazy billboards, I feel compelled to read them out loud (with gusto, of course) and Mike just looks at me like I'm nuts, LOL
And which would David prefer you do, wonder or wander? LOL
