Each year as we have the privilege and blessing of being in our home in Lakemont, we discover new aspects of nature. This past weekend -- it was the wood violet.
Oh, I thank God for the gift of having the time to slow down and appreciate.
It was freeeeezing in Massachusetts...and snowing. But we arrived back home yesterday and even though it's cold in NE, the tulips are pushing through the earth and the crocus and hyacinth are in bloom. Yes, come to mama you dilly dallying spring!
And I thank God for you, every day.
ReplyDeleteI look at these beautiful photos, and think of Match 26 in St. Louis -- five to six inches of snow. My daffodils are buried. But it's beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThe violets! Still waiting here. The crocuses are in bloom though :)
ReplyDeleteThat lavender sky is beautiful!
